Their positions in the list are 35, 43, 79 and 96 respectively.

The list of 100 is prepared by Global Telecoms Business (GTB) a UK based magazine and website renowned in telecommunications reporting and research. GTB has been compiling the list since 2008.

The 2012 list is headed by Dan Mead, CEO of Verizon Wireless, followed by Randall Stephenson CEO of AT&T and Carlos Slim Helu, CEO of America Movil. Current Apple CEO, Tim Cook, is ranked 4th while Google co-founder and CEO Larry Page is at 6. You can view the full list here.

Another Zimbabwean, Norman Moyo, has been listed in a separate 25 executives on the way to power.
