Whatsapp on BlackBerry Smartphone in Zimbabwe (Viewed 2580 times)
Considering Zimbabwe doesn’t have BlackBerry services, it’s always a surprise how much interest BlackBerry related content generates in Zimbabwe. Zimbabweans are buying BlackBerries anyway. Whether they can enjoy the full set of features or not doesn’t matter it seems. WhatsApp has also increased in popularity this year and this is hardly surprising. The question was view some 2,580 times.
The next most view question?
How to pay for my WhatsApp (Viewed 2,149 times)
Answered 8 times, WhatsApp has been one of the most adopted messaging services this year. On Android devices WhatsApp is only free for a year, after which the company charges $1 for annual usage. A common worry has therefore been the means to pay for the service in a country where credit cards are not common. Answers to the question suggest that so far, WhatsApp will just extend the “trial” period if the user doesn’t pay.
The third most viewed question was also WhatsApp related: WhatsApp and productivity? How to turn off WhatsApp on your mobile phone (Viewed 2,111 times).
Fourth most viewed questions was: How to download antivirus for Nokia X2-01; How to download Accuweather and Google maps offline free of charge? (Viewed 1,838 times)
Number 5 most viewed, again, is WhatsApp and Blackberry related. It’s almost the same as number 1, except the asker wanted to know how to install WhatsApp on a BlackBerry device without using Wi-Fi: How do you unlock a BlackBerry browser and get WhatsApp even without Wi-Fi (Viewed 1,448 times)
