Twitter, the microblogging social network is down. Users around the world haven’t been able to access the social media platform through the mobile application and through its website.
According to reports, the site hasn’t been available online since 10:20 am and Twitter has confirmed the outage on Tumblr. Access to the site shows a message that also mentions the service outage.
No additional information has been released from twitter to explain when the service will be restored or the actual cause of the outage. For now, Twimbos and every other user of the service will have to sit and perhaps turn to other social media platforms.
