Remember Courier City? We wrote about how the Zimbabwean owned startup is planning to disrupt the traditional methods of shipping documents and parcels between Canada and Zimbabwe with a person-to-person courier service that could save you up to 50% on your shipping costs.
The service will be up and running on Monday, 12 December 2016, but before that, they would like you to join them in a Facebook Live event tomorrow.
The live event plans to demonstrate its new and improved website as well as provide a platform for a question and answer session allowing anyone with any hanging questions the opportunity to get clarity from the Courier City team themselves.
The live event will start at 1900hrs (local time) and will run until 2300hrs on the Courier City Facebook Page. Viewers of the live event stand a chance of winning discount shipping coupons for documents and parcels.
Facebook live offers a unique opportunity for both the broadcaster and viewer as it provides a familiar platform where interaction can take place between the two parties. Through reactions and responses in the comments section, the broadcaster gains valuable feedback and the customer is able to gain clarity on any previous misunderstandings.
