DStv not going anywhere says Multichoice Zimbabwe

Staff Writer Avatar

Multichoice Zimbabwe CEO, Lovemore Mangwende has sent a statement to say that DStv is not going anywhere and will continue to be active in Zimbabwe.

The CEO says this follows reports that the company is shutting down its Zimbabwean services. Over the past months, at least 3 DStv payments platforms – EcoCash, Telecash and OK Zimbabwe – suspended DStv payments citing circumstances beyond their control.

Here’s the statement:

“Erroneous reports have been made by uninformed people that there has been a cessation or curtailing of DStv services to Zimbabwe. These rumours are  untrue and DStv services to the country remain fully operational. MultiChoice Zimbabwe remains fully functional. Any speculation to the contrary is inaccurate and possibly misguided. Our call centre and customer care centres are able to assist with answers to any queries.”

How did they manage when the Zw$ was a billion to 1? Very strange… Maybe bring back the Zwd and let us trade like we did before as there seemed to be more Usd then than now!
