Some highlights (in pictures) from the TechFest innovation showcase taking place in Bulawayo

TechFest, a regional tech innovation and entrepreneurship showcase organised by the TechVillage has been running throughout this week in the city of Bulawayo.

So far it has brought together startups, entrepreneurs and innovators with some interesting events such as street pitches, community hacks and of course the showcasing of some startup ideas.

All this shows why Bulawayo  – once Zimbabwe’s industrial hub – could actually transform into the “Silicon Valley” of Zimbabwe under the looming presence of the National University of Science and technology.
