Techzim and TBWA will be presenting the 2017 edition of the Digital Future conference – Zimbabwe’s largest gathering of digital and marketing minds – on the 11th and 12th of May 2017. The conference will bring together professionals from various sectors to address the marketing and public relations challenges presented by growing digital advancements globally.

Digital Future enjoyed a large following in 2015, with digital marketing and communication thought leaders from across Africa providing training and insights to local practitioners.

After a hiatus in 2016, Digital Future will be returning in 2017, with speakers from renowned organisations such as Google- arguably the biggest online platform, speaking on the theme “Digitise, Monetise, Realise”.

Digital is a fledgling arena in Zimbabwe, with many organisations unsure of how to harness its power in order to benefit their brands and businesses. Under Digital Future 2017, speakers who have leveraged the power of the digital space will address key considerations as pertaining to various sectors.

At Digital Future 2017, attendees will come away having gained key insights on how to grow, retain and monetise their online audiences. Participants in the conference will also learn how to sharpen online search engine optimisation (SEO) practices, tracking the performance of online activities whilst also understanding the critical elements of online reputation management. Critical digital arenas such as e-commerce and mobile marketing will also be addressed, helping the audience to grasp how to maximise digital return on investment.

Digital Future 2017 will present key speakers from prominent organisations on the continent. Tumi Chaka, an African industry thought leader in the analytics space, and an Analytical Lead at Google, will present experience working in data analytics to highlight best practice analysis techniques for brand marketers. His expertise enables businesses to leverage their data and derive strategic insights for marketing strategies.

Sonia Sengupta, Marketing Executive for MNet’s Eastern and Southern African channels, will bring insights from her experiences as a Market Researcher for GfK (the 4th largest Market Research company in the world), specialising in telecoms, consumer electronics and gaming sectors for the Angolan, Mozambican and South African markets.

Kalay Maistry, Business Unit Head at Magna Carta Reputation Management Consultants (South Africa), will present specialised knowledge drawn from over 20 years’ experience as a journalist and broadcast technical advisor. With experience as a Southern African correspondent at organisations such as Al Jazeera English, SABC, Talk Radio 702, ETV among others, Maistry will provide invaluable knowledge for media practitioners.

$200 for a single day, I think that is a little too steep for the general tech enthusiast, and thus this is only for a niche market who can afford .

$200 is quite a figure for a day

For two days it’s $300. However, what would you say is reasonable to pay?
