The conference will start tomorrow, 15 September 2010, and will run until the end of ICT Africa 2010 on Thursday. According to a post of the Congress WBN website the main focus of the forum will be “Strategies for Economic Development & Social Transformation through ICTs”
Speaking at the event will be the Congress WBN President, Dr. Noel Woodroffe. The Trinidad delegation also includes the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration, Ms Arlene McComie.
This conference is a follow-up to a Congress WBN organized visit to Trinidad made by the Zimbabwe Minister of ICT, Nelson Chamisa, back in May this year. During the visit, the minister was taken on a tour of various ICT initiatives made in a public sector reform process.
