BlackBerry services returning to normal says Research in Motion

Research in Motion assured users around the world today that BlackBerry services are returning to normal now. The service has experienced partial outage on 4 continents since Monday afternoon.

A video message from RIM founder and Co-CEO, Mike Lazaridis, was posted today on YouTube. Lazaridis stressed that the company is approaching “normal BlackBerry service levels in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa” and that RIM is monitoring the system very closely. He also apologized for letting the BlackBerry customers down.

Updates by the company on social media platforms like Facebook also encouraged users still experiencing delays to reboot their BlackBerry devices.
