Today’s Telecel adverts in the print newspapers spot the blue logo so we’re guessing this is a processing that’s still starting. We also contacted the Telecel press people and they appeared to know nothing about the changes. We expect to get an update from them when they contact Telecel.
The re-branding may be part of decisions made at a meeting held in October last year to map out the Zimbabwean operations of the the global parent company.

I can respect mr motivational speaker since he was a country
manager for a couple of tech powerhouses, although generally I’m against the
trend of self proclaimed success coaches/pseudo leadership gurus who have not
achieved anything themselves but just talk success and have a to do list on how
to make it. I respect the testimony of the men and woman who are in the
trenches doing it and living it. Some people have actually gone to the extreme
of declaring “I want to be a Leadership guru” dha -how can u be a
leadership guru when u have not led even a small company. What we need is more
biographies/profiles of tech pioneers and leader kinda thing on techzim and the
like. I think it good if techzim adds a link to the word mention of every
notable tech leader in an article like they sometimes do in mybroadband.
The man is worth listening too…look forward to it:-)
i mean its all great it is re-branding and stuff but look at it this way zimbabweans are very loyal and it seems the large part of the population has been loyal to econet why? because in times of that heavy tide a few years back consistency is what lacked in telecel and net1 but econet was giving it all. telecel has been doing that whole juicing up campaign for over a year or two now and i think their rating have only jumped a bottle top..anyways let us see what they are going to offer
