We’re excited today to announce that it’s going to take place in Harare on the 10th of May, just a little over a month away. We’ve lined up and are still adding on speakers that we know are going to deliver knowledge and discussion. We also know it’ll be a brilliant networking opportunity with some industry decision makers not only in Zimbabwe but those coming from the region.
We believe we need a platform where challenges, solutions and opportunities around broadband are discussed. Where stakeholders of the industry (providers, corporate customers, entrepreneurs, and policy makers) meet to network and explore opportunities around connectivity and access.
Our line-up of speakers includes, James Wekesa Chief Commercial Officer, WIOCC, the operators of the largest undersea cable on the east coast of Africa; David Behr, ZOL CEO and Executive Director and Liquid Telecom; Amanda Donahue, Chief Operating Officer at Kencall which is the largest and pioneer outsourcing company in Kenya. Soul Kabweza, Techzim’s founder will also be speaking the event.
To help us pull this off we have secured the backing of the following brands:
Platinum Sponsors: Telecel Zimbabwe, TelOne
Gold Sponsors: ZOL, PowerTel, Econet Broadband
Media Partner: The Financial Gazette, ZiFM
Social Media Partner: @263Chat
We will be making more announcements on the event as it nears, but in the meantime, check out more information on broadband.techzim.co.zw and book here early to reserve your seat. To follow the announcement on Twitter, please follow the #ZimBroadband hashtag.
