You can never get enough of screen size. That logic that has been the driver behind the transformation of mobile phones from small and easy to handle toys into larger, well-sized devices with ample displays.
It’s what makes sense in a world where we watch more video on mobile devices than ever before. That’s what also justifies the tablet. It’s has earned a place in the device scheme of things and every manufacturer is cashing in, including Gtel.
The Zimbabwean brand that specialises in the distribution of customised Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) hardware has now ventured into tablets as well. The first in this new range is the Gtel T 9000.
The tablet has an 8.9 inch screen, supports Windows 8.1 or Android KitKat (to the user’s discretion), has a 5 MP and 2 MP cameras in the back and front respectively and a quad core processor.
Have you had a chance to use the T 9000? What are your thoughts on it so far? Is there anything you’d want us to explore in our review?

Is that full fat Win8 or Win8 RT? At $600 I would be interested in seeing how well it’ll hold up against something like the $180 (before tax and duty) dell venue 8.
600 USD… you are joking right???
it seems buying a device for cash and hire purchase is the same with Gtel
TOSHIBA ENCORE FULL WIN 8.1 price 200 dollars better quality less money .GTel lower quality more money(3 times more) does this make sense at all
gtel tab….l’ll definatly buy dat one
thanx to gtel that we now hv our own local brand…….but l think they should adjust prices a lil bit lwr
The problem is that Zimbabweans never fail to find anything wrong with anything local. Just because a brand is Zimbabwean saka zvanzi they should not make proper profit? And the way hire purchase works? Credit price is always more than cash price.
