How to make DStv subscription payments in Zimbabwe (July 2017)

MultiChoice, DStv agents, pay tv

We reached out to several banks inquiring about how to pay for DStv using their services. Some banks that we couldn’t get in touch of are Stanbic, Steward, Barclays and FBC. These are are the latest Multichoice Zimbabwe DStv subscription payment options as of  31 July 2017.

Thank you for the article, it’s very helpful indeed. I have a question, is DSTV Now available in Zimbabwe? I know in SA they have a service whereby you can use an app to watch DSTV on any mobile device on the go.

Yes, “DSTV Now” is available in Zimbabwe. All you need is a great data plan or wifi.

Both Barclays and FBC allow payments via Internet Banking and Mobile Banking.

Seems the system is down? We have tried since Friday (28th July) through the bank and no joy!

I made a cash payment through CBZ two weeks ago at a local shop and did not receive service. Online support from DSTV advised me to go back to the shop. I did so and they told me, “they were working on it”! On monday I got a call to go and pay more money at the DSTV shop. This is my exit from DSTV

You can also use your local visa card to make payments

Thanks for the update, cash especially USD is a hustle in Zim at the moment, is it possible for DSTV subscribers to pay using bond notes and then DSTV liaises with banks for International banking services to get the much needed USD for their subscriptions?
