A few weeks ago we talked about Vested Interests and their robotics course. Many readers seem to be very excited about the course but the only problem was, at the time the pricing structure was yet to be ironed out. Now that has been resolved and we have more details regarding to the pricing of their course.
The pricing is tiered to offer different packages and try to be as inclusive as possible…

We won’t be looking at all the packages individually since we already have the table informing us but we will be looking at some things that need to be clarified in relation to the some of the packages…
Bronze Package
This package is designed for those with a lower budget or those who just want to sample the program before fully committing. You can however gain access to the lifetime membership whilst in the bronze package by getting someone else to sign up for the course which is a great incentive for students who may be interested in taking up the course but are mindful of costs.
Lifetime member?
“But what are the benefits of being a lifetime member?”, you may ask. As a lifetime member of Vested Interests, you will enjoy sales and discounts and cost of entry into their robotics competitions will be lowered and you stand a chance of winning different prizes. Apart from prizes and benefits, you will also get some free products.
You’ll also be getting extra assistance in your packages, as Vested Interests said:
For higher packages Vested interests will be offering support to projects you decide to partake meaning
you will have access to an endless pool of knowledge as well as advice and mentorship from expertise in
the field. Again vested interests will give you the opportunity to network with some of the bright minds
as well as ideas that will be already in the community.
Platinum Package
The rest of the benefits that you get per package are clearly outlined in the table above but another interesting package is the Platinum package. This is the only package that will allow you to actually sale Vested Interests products for a commision. Vested Interests will be selling robotics related products such as Arduinos, Raspberry Pi and other accessories in relation to industrial projects as well.
Keep an eye out…
In our communication with Ephraim Mwanda, the founder of Vested Interest, the program will be starting in Q4 of this year so it will be interesting to see what the final product looks like. You may need to keep tabs on this one if you find this interesting.
The pricing of the packages seems reasonable but as you know cost is usually relative. I do think for what they are promising this is a fair pricing scheme and what is left is for us to see what the service itself will become.
