Of all the Mobile Network Operators (MNO), Netone seems to be feeling the heat, of the economic turmoil, more. Just over a month ago, the state-owned MNO, Netone increased the price of its internet bundles and now it has also increased the price of its Wi-Fi device, One-Fi. Check out the new prices (the prices will be effective from 1 January 2019):
Package | Validity | Data |
---|---|---|
$27 | 7 Days | 4 gig |
$57 | 14 Days | 10 gig |
$117 | 30 Days | 25 gig |
$177 | 30 Days | 40 gig |
$297 | 30 Days | 75 gig |
This is the second time One-Fi prices are being increased in less than 2 months and it’s now way more expensive than the likes of Zol. For instance, One-Fi’s 30 day-75 gig package now costs $297, $72 more than Zol’s Wibroniks uncapped and $177 more than Telone’s uncapped package. One-Fi’s prices are just ridiculous, and they will probably induce people to switch to Telone or Zol. But you would forgive Netone with this increase since inflation is going up day by day.

Thats ridiculous they are slowly driving themselves out of Business. They should think first before doing anything or simple price comparing with competitors because nothing is Unique with Netone internet except for slow speed
