Earlier we published an article based on a report by The Herald claiming that Epson was going to open an office in Zimbabwe next week. But that’s not the case. Epson reached out to us saying that The Herald’s report was not a bit accurate. We apologise for giving you a very inaccurate story.
What’s happening next week then?
Epson’s is not opening an office in Zimbabwe nor is it partaking in any sort of government initiative to digitise the local education sector. Rather, Epson’s regional partner will do an event that will mark the reintroduction of Epson’s products in the Zim market. Here’s a screenshot of the email Epson sent us:
