With an open theme this year, participants can pitch any impactful business idea aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The winning teams will advance to the Global Finals for a chance to secure $1 million in seed funding.
Hult Prize 2025: Empowering Zimbabwean Innovators to Change the World
The Hult Prize, known as the “Nobel Prize for Students,” is excited to announce the launch of the Hult Prize 2025 competition, inviting Zimbabwean students and young innovators to join a global movement aimed at solving the world’s most pressing challenges through social entrepreneurship.
The Hult Prize challenges university students from around the world to develop innovative solutions to that create impact. This year, the theme is open and participants can pitch any idea they have for a social enterprise. Participants are encouraged to create sustainable business ideas that leverage technology to address critical issues such as education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability. The idea should also align with at least one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs.
Key Details:
- Eligibility: The competition is open to all university students in Zimbabwe, teams must be between 2 – 4 members.
- Application Deadline: Interested participants must submit their applications by February 15, 2025.
- Global Finals: Winning teams will advance to the Global Finals, where they will compete for a chance to win $1 million in seed funding to launch their social enterprises.
