ZIMSTAT launched the Census Executive Monitoring Mobile App on Android recently. There is no word on an iOS version but that’s alright in my book.
It’s all about access to census data and nothing more and so temper your expectations accordingly. It delivers on what it promises without much fluff.
The app looks decent enough and is easy to navigate and that’s about what you can ask for.
I hope ZIMSTAT works on an app that’s not limited to just census data but rather the other vast amounts of data they have. To have easy access with graphs for easier visualisation just like in the census one.to the multiple surveys and research they have would be huge.

c. Sex — Analyze population distribution by gender(sex).
d. Urban & Rural Areas — Compare demographic trends between urban and rural regions.
e. Age Groups — Gain insights into population structure by age (shows a population pyramid).
