GDG Harare Presents: Devfest 2024

DevFest is a global developer conference hosted by Google Developer Groups (GDGs)
worldwide. These community-organized events focus on learning, building, and connecting with
fellow developers and tech practitioners. They offer a variety of activities, including technical
talks, workshops, and networking opportunities. We invite attendees to explore the possibilities
and discuss how we can build and use AI in a fair, ethical, and responsible way.

We will be exploring the best practices that go into creating AI based products and services. As
part of the festival we are looking to host a Hackathon , which will focus on developing solutions
that are financially related, that is AI in FinTech. The Hackathon will proceed to the main event
on October 26, 2024 where the winners will be announced. We have designed the programming
in an inclusive manner to bring together a diverse group of people to participate in the festival.
