Fact-Checking and Verification Masterclass for Students 

ZimFact is hosting a two-day fact-checking masterclass for journalists in Harare  from 24-25  July  2024 (9am to 4pm). To apply for the workshop, complete the following Google form below by 15 July 2024

PLEASE NOTE: Spaces are limited so don’t apply if you won’t be available to attend the two-day session in full. Venue to be confirmed closer to the time.  Accommodation and local travel will be provided.

The training will cover the types of false information (dis- and misinformation); how and why false information spreads; using online tools to verify information, images and videos; finding accurate data from credible sources; and how to apply fact-checking methodology in your daily reporting.
