Fujifilm Instax: Instant Photography with Potential Business Uses

Leonard Sengere Avatar

Do you remember the good old days when we had Polaroid instant film cameras? Back when you could snap a picture and print it out seconds later? Ah, the good old days.

You have to admit, there’s just something about a physical photo that not even world-class AI-generated digital slideshows can ever match.

The good news is that we don’t have to reminisce about those days because instant pictures have made a comeback.

Fujifilm Instax

I’m sure you know about Fujifilm, a major player in the imaging and photography industry. They produce cameras, film, printers, and copiers, among other things. Today, we focus on their instant photography solution that could be fun for home users and useful for businesses.

They have instant cameras that hearken back to the Polaroids of old, and these fun little cameras have been a hit. I’m talking about these bad boys:

It’s simple, really—you snap a picture, and the camera prints out your photo. You enjoy your little memento. That’s it.

What if you’re not looking for a camera, being content with your phone or DSLR? For you, Fujifilm has Instax Link printers. These little printers connect to your phone or any other device via Bluetooth and allow you to print out whatever you want.

I got a chance to play around with these printers yesterday, and it was all fun. I even printed a few snaps of my face, but I won’t subject you to that.

There are three sizes: Instax Mini, Square, and Wide film formats.

That sounds fun, but that’s also where businesses could find use cases too.

Instax Biz app

Fujifilm made an app that allows businesses to get the most out of the Instax Link printers.

Businesses can create customized, branded Instax photos for events and promotions. With the app, you can design unique templates and add QR codes if you want. Then, of course, you can print photos instantly using Instax Link printers.

Key features of the app:

  • Customizable Templates: Upload your own designs or use pre-made templates to create branded photos.
  • QR Code Integration: Add QR codes to link customers to your website, social media, or special offers.
  • Instant Printing: Print photos directly from your smartphone or tablet using Instax Link series printers.
  • Compatibility: Works with Instax Mini, Square, and Wide film formats.

Here are examples of snaps with QR codes added:

You might still not see how this could be useful to your business, but here are some use cases we were told about:

  • Sports Events: Create customized photos with team logos or player images.
  • Music Festivals: Design festival-themed templates with QR codes linking to schedules or artist info.
  • Corporate Events: Produce branded photos for conferences, product launches, or award ceremonies. Give attendees personalized Instax photos as a unique and memorable souvenir.
  • Event Marketing: At events, print photos of attendees with your brand logo and a unique hashtag. Encourage social media sharing with the hashtag.
  • Photo Booths: Set up branded photo booths at events or in-store to create fun, shareable moments.
  • Hospitality: Offer customized photos for weddings, anniversaries, or birthday parties at hotels and restaurants.

I think you can take it as far as your imagination allows. So, if you find this interesting, I hear these organizations have the printers in stock—and some have the cameras too, if that’s what interests you: Focal Point, InkVantage, and Solution Centre. If you know of other organizations selling these, just throw it in the comments section.

In 1146 the Templars adopted the famous splayed red cross the cross pat tee With this
device emblazoned on their mantles, the knights accompanied King Louis VII of France on
the Second Crusade. Here they established their reputation for martial zeal coupled with
an almost insane foolhardiness, and a fierce arrogance as well. On the whole, however,
they were magnificently disciplined -the most disciplined fighting force in the world at the
time. The French king himself wrote that it was the Templars alone who prevented the
Second Crusade ill-conceived and mismanaged as it was from degenerating into a total
    debacle.
During the next hundred years the Templars became a power with
international influence. They were constantly engaged in high-level
diplomacy between nobles and monarchs throughout the Western world and
    the
Holy Land. In England, for example, the Master of the Temple was regularly called to the
king’s Parliament, and was regarded as head of all religious orders, taking precedence
over all priors and abbots in the land. Maintaining close links with both Henry II and
Thomas a Becket, the Templars were instrumental in trying to reconcile the sovereign and
his estranged archbishop. Successive English kings, including King John, often resided in
the Temple’s London preceptory, and the Master of the Order stood by the monarch’s side
at the signing of the Magna Carta.”
Nor was the Order’s political involvement confined to Christendom alone.

Saracen leaders exceeding that accorded any other Europeans. Secret connections were
also maintained with the Hashishim or Assassins, the famous sect of militant and often
fanatical adepts who were Islam’s equivalent of the Templars. The Hashishim paid tribute
to the Templars and were rumoured to be in their employ.
On almost every political level the Templars acted as official arbiters
in disputes, and even kings submitted to their authority.
