Become a WhatsApp Beta user (to enjoy the latest features)
If you want to get future versions of WhatsApp then you need to become a beta tester. Anyone can become a better tester. To become one just go to this link using your Android Phone and then just tap on “Become a Better Tester”
You will then receive an update that includes a testing version of the WhatsApp app. As with all such testing, you should know the app may not be as stable as the publicly available one. You becoming a beta tester is actually how WhatsApp improves the unreleased version to the point that it can now be used by everyone. Happy testing!
What About WhatsApp Gold?
Many people have asked us if it’s safe to download WhatsApp Gold instead of the standard WhatsApp. Most people have been told that it’s an exclusive invite only WhatsApp that top celebrities use and that it has improved features that WhatsApp plans to release to the public in the future. Things like new emojis, video calling, enhanced security features and more customisation options.
This is not true. WhatsApp Gold is not made by the WhatsApp Inc company. It is made by hackers and by using it you are exposing yourself to a lot of problems on your phone, unless you really know what you’re doing.
In fact, we recommend that you don’t download it even if invited “exclusively” to do so. it’s a scam just like the other ones before it.
Other WhatsApps that people have downloaded to their detriment include WhatsApp Plus. The best thing to do when you get an invite such as the one below is to delete the message and block the number.
Don’t even click to that link because it takes you to a website that is infested with viruses that will infect your phone or your computer. If you have always wondered where you get popups and all the frustrating advertising on your laptop – clicking such stuff is the reason. Be the wiser one.
If if the promised features are indeed there, they still come at a huge cost of the compromise of your smartphone or laptop, and possible banning from using the WhatsApp service if WhatsApp detects that you’re using a modified version.
