What is Starlink?
Starlink is an internet service that uses satellites. The satellites work in pretty much the same way Dstv or OpenView works – that is, they can reach anywhere you are. This means people in remote areas can use it. This is great for remote schools, farms, mines, holiday resorts, rural homesteaders, religious groups…
Beyond network coverage, the major Starlink attraction is price. Starlink subscriptions are currently $50 a month for unlimited usage. This is generally lower than established internet providers charge.
