ZimDigital will be joining forces with ZIFTESSA (Zimbabwe Film and Television School of Southern Africa) to conduct content creation training around the country.
Interested parties should register at the Ministry of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services offices for the training workshops. The training will be open to both established and upcoming filmmakers/content creators.
The trainings will be conducted throughout July and early August in the following places:

Opportune timing?
The timing of these courses could be quite opportune as ZBC seeks to add some new channels. The ZBC CEO Patrick Mavhura announced:
We will increase our channels and hope to have a security services television channel, wildlife, history of our country and Africa among other channels… We will have a full spectrum channel to carry a variety of content and then news and current affairs, sports, music, tourism and nature channels initially.
Zimpapers also said they will be airing a “feel good” news channel by the end of this coming month. On top of that they plan to add 5 more channels eventually so it may be a good time to take advantage of these opportunities if you are interested in the film making industry.
